Site Cookies

This site uses cookies to store information on your computer.

By accessing this Website, You accept and agree that Sharp, its affiliated companies or its service providers may send and store cookies (small pieces of data placed on your hard disk drive when you access a website or a certain part of a website) to your computer or other access device in order to personalise your visit to this Website and/or to learn more about your use or browsing habits while visiting this website. The cookie may be a persistent or single session cookie.

Many of these cookies are essential for the site's operation (e.g. to enable products to be added to your basket and be available when you reach the checkout). Others are for analytics purposes, so we can tell how popular a page is, find and correct any problems that are preventing customers from accessing certain pages, and generally monitor usage and browsing habits whilst on the site.

Cookies on this site are either first party (created by sharpdirect) or third party (created by a site other than sharpdirect). Third party cookies might be used if you have clicked through from one of our affiliate partners. These are used so we know how many customers originate from these partners.

Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors engage with the site and to help us work out what we can do to improve the customer experience. Google Analytics collects information anonymously, and it reports website trends without identifying individual visitors.

It does this by using its own set of cookies to track visitor interactions. These cookies are used to store information, such as what time the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before, and what site referred the visitor to the web page

To disable this type of cookie, some browsers will indicate when a cookie is being sent and allow you to decline cookies on a case-by-case basis. In addition to declining cookies, you can also install the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on in your browser, which prevents Google Analytics from collecting information about your website visits.

If you want to find out more or install the Opt-out Browser Add-on which is available for Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Opera, go to this page: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
